Did you know that nearly 90% of the families we serve are led by single mothers under the age of 34? The courage and resilience they display in the face of adversity is nothing short of awe-inspiring. This Mother’s Day, you can support our holistic, strength-based programming and provide our moms and their families with a pathway to housing security, financial stability, and educational opportunity. Every dollar makes a difference–brighter futures begin with you.
Full Speed Ahead: Pinewood Derby Night
Our afterschool program students had an unforgettable time at Pinewood Derby Night on April 16th!
Over the past few weeks, they’ve been designing, building, and decorating their own race cars with the help of our amazing Scouts volunteers. The big night was a Family Night celebration filled with cheers, countdowns, and high-speed fun in a buzzing gymnasium. From the roar of the crowd to the pride on every student’s face, it was a night of joy, creativity, and teamwork. Huge thanks to our volunteer Scouts team for guiding our students through this exciting experience and helping them grow their problem-solving skills and imagination. Way to go, racers!
