How You Can Support Facility Dog Tatum
Full Bowls for a Year - $750
To ensure our facility dog remains healthy and energetic throughout the year, you can cover the cost of Tatum's food for an entire year. Your contribution will provide vital nourishment, ensuring Tatum can continue offering the unconditional love and support that makes a real difference in the lives of the hundreds of families and youth we serve throughout the year.
Canine Care - $3,000
Offsetting routine care and annual veterinary costs for Tatum helps her to be at her best in her crucial role of supporting families and children who are experiencing or recovering from homelessness. Tatum works hard to help reduce anxiety, foster trust, improve client motivation, and create a calming environment, facilitating healing and emotional resilience in these vulnerable families. Ensuring that Tatum remains healthy and able to perform in her therapeutic role is vital to the ongoing success of our trauma-informed care approach. Your support will directly contribute to the well-being of this invaluable team member, ensuring Tatum can remain in top form and serve as a source of comfort and hope for families in need.
A Pawsitive Impact: Named Sponsor of the HFF Facility Dog Program – $75,000
Be a pioneer in supporting our innovative Facility Dog Program, the first of its kind in the Midwest for a housing organization such as ours! In partnership with Canine Companions, this program positions HFF as a leader in trauma-informed care for families and youth facing homelessness. For 20 hours each week, Tatum provides therapeutic comfort, anxiety reduction, and a sense of security to individuals navigating the trauma of displacement and instability of both episodic and chronic homelessness during client visits and intakes. Your generous contribution will support operational costs of our dual-handler program, while ensuring the best care of our four-legged client advocate.
